Graham Hicks

A former footballer, Morecombe’s “Hicksey” first began lifting weights as a bodybuilder before moving into strongman as a U105KG competitor. Winning national titles at the lighter bodyweight, Graham moved up to start taking on the big boys and soon made a name for himself with his incredible overhead prowess, establishing a British record of 211KG in the log lift.

A design support engineer, currently working on fighter jets, Graham returned from serious injury to come 2nd to “The Beast” at the 2018 Britain’s Strongest Man Championships in Sheffield. Exhibiting impressive speed to match his static power, Hicks looks every inch a future national champion and Europe’s Strongest Man contender.
